Hi Guys,
Just letting you know that on Monday Christine Canderle had a baby boy, Mum doesn't know the name as yet.
Not sure if you knew she was pregnant, Catherine and I found out on Sunday after I read a letter from Aunty Joyce that mentioned Christine had a week to go, so I asked Mum a week to go till what?
The letter also mentioned that Karen's boy Jamie had got a scholarship to St John's College which is good news.
Bye for now

Very impressive Bernie
Yes, those are bigger rocks - if not prettier ones ;-)

I haved added some more photos of our Arizona trip here.
Dad sent us some more photographs for Danie's birthday. We like Damon's new haircut and glasses and Bianca's looooong hair.
She seems to have the Muollo sporting gene which is good to hear.
Speaking of sport and birthdays. We are going to Dusseldorf weekend after next to celebrate my Ozzie friend Pat's birthday. Fortunately he is not a big rugby fan so he wasn't too painful after our recent disappointment. I liked your joke Lisa by the way - I'm posting it here as an official record of that terrible day:
What more needs be said?????
John Mitchell asked Eddie Jones after the Semi Final. "Eddie, I
thought I had the journey planned, how did you beat me ?".
Pretty simple, replied Eddie " I picked my players for their
intelligence and asked them just one question".
That simple said Mitchell ?, Yep replied Eddie, pick one of my squad
and see how he does.
Mitchell thinks for a while then nominates Matt Rogers. Eddie calls
him over & asks him,
"Who is the child of your Father & of your Mother who is not your
Brother & is not your Sister?"
"Ah simple Eddie", says Matt, "its me". Well done Matty, says Eddie,
& Mitchell is very impressed.
Mitchell returns to the Hotel & wonders about the intelligence of his
team.
He calls in Rueben Thorne and says to asks him "Who is the child of
your Father & of your Mother who is not your Brother & is not your
Sister?"
Rueben thinks & thinks & doesn't know the answer. "Can I think about
it a bit more Mitch & I'll give you an answer tomorrow ?".
Of course, says Mitchell, you've got 24 hours. But it is very
important that you come up with the answer.
Rueben goes away, thinks as hard as he can, & then he calls in his
team mates.
Carlos Spencer thought it might be his Grandpa but wasn't sure. Aaron
Mauger was certain that it couldn't be anyone. Alli Williams refused
to answer in case he was sacked for not knowing. Steve Devine owned
up to having failing the test and thats why he had to come to New
Zealand and play for the All Blacks. Joe Rocofoko thought it would be
an Uncle in Fiji who had been adopted as a child.
Leon McDonald went into the foetal position.
The rest of the team wouldn't even hazard a guess.
20 hours later, Rueben is very worried that he still has no answer
with only 4 hours to go. Eventually Rueben, thinks I know, I'll ring
Merthens he's bloody smart, he will know the answer.
He phones Merthens. "Merts tell me who is the child of your Father &
of your Mother who is not your Brother & is not your Sister?
Very simple says Merthens, "its me".
Of course, says Rueben and rings Mitchell. "Mitch", I've got the
answer: its Merthens".
"No, you idiot", says Mitchell. "It's Matt Rogers."

Damon's Birthday
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the card J & D. Damon had a very enjoyable day. He had a party at Joyce's. 3 of his friends from creche came along with Theresa, Anna & Anton and his other cousin Thomas. Very full on party with 4 yr old boys running wild. Bianca and her friend Hannah did their best to keep them in order.
Damon is still very much into his cars, he can tell the difference between a Ford & Holden from about 100 yards. Blue Fords are his favourite.
However he is now hugely into Dinosaurs, he impressed everyone at the party by naming all the different dinasours on the party table cloth they had. Mum takes him to the library every Tuesday and he gets Dinasour videos and watches them over and over. He also has Dinosaur books and toys. Started in December there is going to be a big Dinosaur display of skeletons and stuff at Te Papa which I'm looking forward to taking him.
Lisa & I took Damon, Bianca and Bianca's friend Hannah to the Christmas Parade on Sunday. Damon really enjoyed it and was quite happy to shake hands of clowns and people dressed up.
Bianca had inter school swimming sports the other day. They were up against 8 other schools. Her relay team came third in the freestyle. Bianca came 2nd in her 25m heat and 4th in the final and she won her 50m heat and also came 4th in the final. They only had freestyle and backstroke. Not bad considering she hasn't done swimming for ages.
She is playing flipper ball (kids water polo)at the moment as well, they have 1 boy in her team and they smashed a team of all boys last week. The boys kept asking Bianca how old she was.
She is also playing indoor netball, so it is good she is keeping active.
Bye for now

Here's a final few photos
Still haven't got any photos of me on rocks yet. I'll show you some more but I am aware these are taking up space.
I've found a car that is about my size!
And on the Carousel in disneyland! (Very tanned if I do say so myself)
And last photo - In gaol at Alcatraz for looking too trendy! :)
That's enough - until I get my 300 photos on a CD or two!
Hairstylist
Nah! One red head in the family is enough :)
Didn't drink a drop while away and only spent about $2.20 on the machines at Vegas. And that was to get rid of 5c pieces!
I'll find some rock photos later.
Hee, hee.
You look like Prince 'Arry (in the first photo anyway) - have you considered colouring it (red)?.
Nice photos! And you're sober in all of them - well done mate.
U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!
Cool! More photos!
Grand Canyon sitting on the cliffs edge - tut tut!
Driving on Golden Gate Bridge
Yosemite
And finally Tigger!

Photo Time
Right I shall try and attach a few photos from our US Trip.
Test this time and then I'll play!

Danie's Birthday
Hi Guys,
Congratulations on your season Lisa - a moral victory I'd say! Do you have any photos? - drunken or otherwise.
Speaking of which we celebrated Danie's birthday on the weekend with some drinks at a couple of pubs.

The Redback is a famous Antipodean pub near us with dodgy toilets and overpriced beer. Somehow we always have a good time there though.
Go Leicester! Bet you enjoyed that Bernie? They'll finish above Liverpool at this rate.
No-one came to our door to ask for sweets on Halloween either. We just went over the road to the (old geezer) pub in our costumes - got some funny looks as only the bar staff and us were dressed up.

We're moving...again....!!
Hi all,
glad to hear you guys enjoyed your holidays, Universal Studios was my favourite when I went over there, although I imagine heaps has changed in the 12 years since!
The Wellington Rep soccer is finished now, we finished a creditable 2nd place only on goal difference to them blimmen aucklanders. We had to score 12 goals in the final match against Waikato and we could only manage to beat them 3-0. Still, fantastic effort from the girls, a few drinks were had afterwards as well.
We are in the process of packing up our offices as we are moving to the old Ewart hospital in Coromandel st. The new offices are great so we can't wait.
Anyway must away, boxes to label and dusting to do :)

I'm Back!
Unfortunately!
Back to work straight away today after waking at 4am and not being able to get back to sleep. A bit of a struggle - particularly as it is month end again!
Had a brilliant time - we were in the US for halloween and they are nuts over there.
We weren't in Hollywood as apparently they have between 60 - 100000 people there for a big party. And there was even more than that in San Fran.
Wendy said if she saw anyone dressed up she was going to run them over. We were in Carmel on that evening (where Clint Eastwood used to be mayor). Beautiful place but a bit mad - apparently women have to apply to the council to wear high heels.
I agree that the NYNY Roller Coaster was intense. quick and loads of twists and turns. I liked the Terminator 2 3D at Universal as well - that was cool.
Had an amazing time and did so much. Wendy hasn't gone through the 400+ photos she took yet. I only took 300 odd but they have to be processed.
Myself and Lynn are off to watch Leicester get hammered by Man City at the new City of Manchester Stadium on Sunday - but apart from that I'm trying to relax before a tough week next week.
Rock photos some time soon I hope.

Nice outfits!
We bought sweets as usual but of course no one came to the door.
Bianca was going to go trick or treating but just ended up going to Civic Square for a concert with her friend.
On Saturday we took Damon & Bianca to Staglands in Upper Hutt. Great place, lovely tame animals and birds which you could feed by hand. Damon fed a Swan and some rabbits but wasn't keen on the sheep or donkeys.
Nice setting with the river running through it, in summer you would be able to swim there. B & L it kindof reminded me of the Water invention place we visited between Coromandel and Whitianga a few years back.
Yesterday went on a field trip with Bianca's class to Belmont Park & the Botanical Gardens to test the water quality of the streams amongst other stuff.
bye for now
